Today is going to be a review of a game that doesn't get much attention. If anything, it seems to be forgotten about more often than not. It would be a game by the name of XEXYZ. It mixes two different genres together in the sense of being a bit different. On one hand, it is a platform game and also a shoot 'em up game.
There really isn't a need for a major plot. It is mostly rescuing the Princess from evil. It involves defeating the evil Goruza who wants to take over the land. It is a bit cliche but it is what it is in that regard and nothing that would be complicated. Remember, some games didn't have or need a major overly complex plot in order to really put together a solid story.
The even levels are in a shoot 'em up format. The only difference is that one hit does not kill the character. If anything, it has a life bar and will have items to pick up along the way. The odd levels are in a platform base.
