Mega Man Tribute (Multiple Part Blog)
August 14th 2008 16:38
As all you gamers know Mega Man 9 is coming out really soon. In terms of doing this, I'm going to be doing a Mega Man Tribute and review 9 Mega Man games from Mega Man all the way up to Mega Man & Bass. Funny story about Mega Man & Bass is that some people in general thought this was Mega Man 9 as this was for the longest the closest to it but it's not that anymore as there is an official Mega Man 9.
I've played many of the Mega Man games and the classics really to me define what I like the most in the entire series. These games I could go back to right now and play. It still has the enjoyment and even though they are not up to next-gen level in terms of graphics, it really doesn't matter.
So let's begin with it and could be about twice a week depending upon what goes on. As we get closer to Mega Man 9, it's time to look back at the very 1st Mega Man ever made.
It is Mega Man 1 on the NES. This game is just not infamous for being an innovator in the gaming world with taking robots powers, it's also got perhaps the worst cover design of any NES game. I think it's an ugly design but this does teach a lesson that sometimes you have to look at what's inside the game to really be able to judge it. It's like the old saying of not judging a book by its cover.
Mega Man 1 Review
Enjoy this and this is all about Mega Man. Stay tuned for Mega Man 2 coming up, the one that probably many consider the best Mega Man game of all-time.
